Warren Central coach William Unseld started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Chappelle Whitney, 6-5 Jr. Kade Unseld, 6-4 Sr. Damarion Walkup, 5-11 Sr. Izayiah Villafuerte, and 6-3 Sr. Omari Glover. Bowling Green coach DG Sherrill countered with 6-6 Fr. Gavin Lightning, 6-0 So. Braylon Banks, 6-8 Jr. Mason Ritter, 6-0 Jr. Makayelus Wardlow, and 6-0 So. Deuce Bailey.

Warren Central raced out to a 29-15 lead early in the third quarter but had to survive a furious Bowling Green rally to earn a 52-50 overtime victory. Bowling Green had one late opportunity but Luke Idlett’s last second three point attempt hit the front rim. Warren Central shot 46.7% from the field including four of 15 from the three point line. The Dragons connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and committed seven turnovers. Bowling Green shot 40% from the field including five of 15 from beyond the arc. The Purples connected on 13 of 14 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and committed five turnovers.

Chappelle Whitney led Warren Central with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Izayiah Villafuerte added 13 points including three three point baskets. Damarion Walkup recorded seven points and Kade Unseld chipped in with six points and four assists. Omari Glover pulled down eight rebounds.

Mason Ritter led Bowling Green with 12 points including six of seven free throws and pulled down 11 rebounds. Makayelus Wardlow added 11 points. Deuce Bailey recorded nine points and Braylon Banks chipped in with eight points including four of four free throws.
