North Laurel coach Nate Valentine started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Ryan Davidson, 6-0 Sr. Kyler Elza, 6-4 Jr. Gavin Chadwell, 6-1 Jr. Brody Brock, and 6-3 Sr. Reed Sheppard. Madison Southern coach Bill Bevins countered with 6-3 Jr. Jay Rose, 6-0 Jr. Avery Davidson, 6-5 Sr. Brett Erslan, 6-0 Jr. Braden Hudson, and 6-1 Jr. Zach Hudson.

North Laurel defeated Madison Southern by the score of 95-66. North Laurel shot 53.3% from the field including 14 of 27 from the three point line. The Jaguars connected on 17 of 19 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 14 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 48% from the field including 11 of 29 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored five points off six North Laurel turnovers.

Reed Sheppard led North Laurel with 31 points including six three point baskets, five of five free throws, seven rebounds, 11 assists, and five steals. Ryan Davidson added 19 points including nine of 10 free throws, nine rebounds, and three assists. Gavin Chadwell recorded 11 points and five rebounds. Kyler Elza chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets. Brody Brock added nine points on three three point baskets, five rebounds, and two steals.

Zach Hudson led Madison Southern with 21 points including four three point baskets and seven rebounds. Braden Hudson added 12 points, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Jay Rose recorded 11 points, three rebounds, and two assists. Avery Davidson chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets,four rebounds, and three assists. Brett Erslan added five points, five rebounds, and two assists.
