Ryle coach Katie Haitz started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. Abby Holtman, 5-11 Jr. Quinn Eubank, 6-2 Jr. Sarah Baker, 5-9 Fr. Jaelyn Jones, and 5-10 Sr. Austin Johnson. Cooper coach Justin Holthaus countered with 6-0 Jr. Logan Palmer, 5-10 Jr. Maleah Alexander, 6-2 Sr. Whitney Lind, 5-8 Sr. Kay Freihofer, and 5-10 Jr. Liz Freihofer.

Cooper survived a late rally by Ryle to earn a 63-58 victory. Abby Holtman had pulled Ryle to within 1; 59-58 with a field goal and free throw with less than 30 seconds left on the clock. Liz Freihofer than hit two free throws, Whitney Lind recorded a big defensive play with a pass deflection recovered by Cooper and two more free throws by Liz Freihofer to ensure the victory. Cooper shot 43.6% from the field including five of 11 from the three point line. They connected on 10 of 14 free throws and pulled down 24 rebounds. Ryle shot 55.6% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc. The Lady Raiders connected on four of 10 free throws and pulled down 21 rebounds.

Whitney Lind led Cooper with 27 points and five rebounds. Kay Freihofer added 13 points and six rebounds. Liz Freihofer recorded 11 points and six rebounds. Maleah Alexander chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets.

Sarah Baker led Ryle with 19 points and six rebounds. Quinn Eubank added 17 points and six rebounds. Abby Holtman recorded 16 points including three three point baskets.
