Lexington Christian Academy coach Ted Hall started the following lineup: 6-2 So. Hagan Preston, 6-2 So. Andersen Green, 6-4 Sr. Tyler Hall, 5-11 So. Saxton Howard, and 6-0 Sr. Connor Martin. Sayre coach Robert Goodman countered with 6-4 Sr. Davis Miller, 6-1 So. Brock Coffman, 6-6 Jr. Ian Reesor, 6-1 Sr, Grady Johnson, and 6-1 Sr. Graham Johnson.
Lexington Christian Academy outscored Sayre 22-12 in the second quarter on their way to a 67-59 victory. The score was tied six times and there were six lead changes in this game. LCA shot 48.1% from the field including seven of 20 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Sayre turnovers. Sayre shot 47.1% from the field including three of 18 from beyond the arc. The Spartans connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored six points off eight LCA turnovers.
Tyler Hall led LCA with 19 points, five rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals. Andersen Green added 16 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds. Saxton Howard recorded 16 points including two three point baskets, five assists, and three steals.
Ian Reesor led Sayre with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Davis Miller added 11 points and five rebounds. Graham Johnson also had 11 points. Brock Coffman recorded 10 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.
