Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Tyler Doyle, 6-5 Sr. Hudson Sparks, 7-1 Sr. Reece Potter, 6-0 Jr. John Reinhart, and 6-3 Jr. Brody Turner. North Oldham coach David Levitch II countered with 6-7 Sr. Ian Higdon, 6-4 Sr. Jack Scales, 6-8 Sr. Luke Anderson, 6-1 Sr. Dallas Roberts, and 6-2 Jr. Grant Neal.
Lexington Catholic defeated North Oldham by the score of 55-47. Lexington Catholic shot 46.3% from the field including two of 12 from the three point line. The Knights connected on 15 of 15 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 North Oldham turnovers. North Oldham shot 36.6% from the field including six of 20 from beyond the arc. The Mustangs connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 11 Lexington Catholic turnovers.
Reece Potter led Lexington Catholic with 16 points including six of six free throws, five rebounds, and two blocked shots. Tyler Doyle added 14 points including four of four free throws, and five rebounds. John Reinhart recorded 10 points including two three point baskets.
Dallas Roberts led North Oldham with 24 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and two steals. Ian Higdon added eight points and eight rebounds. Jack Scales recorded eight points including two three point baskets. Luke Anderson chipped in with four points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.
