Madison Southern coach Josh Curtis started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Jada Carter, 5-5 So. Ashlan Estep, 5-11 Sr. Bella Moberly, 5-4 Fr. Hadley French, and 5-7 Sr. Tara Wooten. Henry Clay coach Ashley Garrad countered with 5-9 Jr. Allison Stone, 5-8 Jr. Lydia Van Metre, 5-8 Jr. Emily Johnson, 5-2 So. Ariyana Sutton, and 5-6 Jr. Timarri Miller.

Henry Clay led 37-17 in the third quarter and withstood a rally by Madison Southern to earn a 55-47 victory. Henry Clay shot 38.1% from the field including three of 14 from the three point line. The Lady Blue Devils connected on 20 of 31 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 20 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 30.8% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on 20 of 31 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 21 Henry Clay turnovers.

Allison Stone led Henry Clay with 23 points including three three point baskets, six of 10 free throws, seven rebounds, and three steals. Ariyana Sutton added 11 points including seven of nine free throws, two assists, and four steals. Timarri Miller recorded seven points, seven rebounds, and four assists.

Hadley French led Madison Southern with 20 points including seven of nine free throws, two rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Bella Moberly added seven points and seven rebounds. 5-10 Fr. Laci Sandlin recorded seven points and two rebounds. Tara Wooten added seven points and six rebounds. Tara Wooten, Ashlan Estep, and Laci Sandlin all fouled out for Madison Southern.
