Rockcastle County coach Chrysti Noble started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Keelee King, 5-10 Jr. Camryn Cash, 6-1 Jr. Talynne Shearer, 5-8 Fr. Taylor King, and 5-3 Sr. Karlee Smith. Madison Central coach Scott True Sr. countered with 5-8 Sr. Chloe Freeman, 5-7 Jr. Eden Carter, 5-10 Jr. Bailey Hensley, 5-7 So. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 So. Nataya Strader.

Madison Central utilized good defense, team play, and excellent defense tonight to defeat Rockcastle County by the score of 56-44. Madison Central shot 44.2% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on 15 of 23 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 16 Rockcastle County turnovers. Rockcastle County shot 40% from the field including one of 12 from beyond the arc. The Lady Rockets connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 17 Rockcastle County turnovers.

Bailey Hensley led Madison Central with 19 points, 11 rebounds, and three steals. Brittany Campbell added 13 points, three rebounds, four assists, one blocked shot, and two steals. Eden Carter recorded eght points and five rebounds. Nataya Strader chipped in with six points, three rebounds, and three steals. 5-7 Jr. Olivia Metcalfe added five points and four rebounds.

Talynne Shearer led Rockcastle County with 14 points, six rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals. Taylor King added eight points. Karlee Smith recorded six points, two rebounds, three assists, and two steals. 5-6 Jr. Haven King chipped in with six points and four rebounds.
