Bryan Station coach Tommy Johnson started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. David Demarcus, 6-3 Sr. Warren Braeden, 6-5 Jr. Alexander Pickett, 5-10 Jr. Eric Boone, and 6-1 Jr. Terrance Murphy. Boyle County coach Steve Adams countered with So. Will Imfeld, 5-11 Fr. Reese Smith, 6-5 Jr. Will Bramel, 5-10 Jr. Bryce Slone, and 6-0 Jr. Jason Alexander.
Bryan Station eked out a 60-56 victory over Boyle County on the road. The score was tied nine times and there were seven lead changes in the game. Bryan Station shot 49% from the field including two of 10 from the three point line. The Defenders connected on eight of 13 from the free throw line, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 18 Boyle County turnovers. Boyle County shot 45.1% from the field including three of 11 from beyond the arc. The Rebels connected on seven of 15 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored four points off 11 Bryan Station turnovers.
Eric Boone led Bryan Station with 22 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots, and three steals. Terrance Murphy added 20 points and three steals. 5-6 Fr. Nathan Mack chipped in with nine points.
Bryce Slone led Boyle County with 19 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds. Will Bramel added 11 points and eight rebounds. Reese Smith chipped in with 11 points. Jason Alexander recorded 11 points, five rebounds, and three assists.
