Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Lucky Jackson, 5-10 Jr. Jaelin Jenkins, 6-6 Jr. Ross Jenkins, 5-10 So. Jajuante Carpenter, and 6-0 Jr. Harrison Lane. Bryan Station coach Tommy Johnson countered with 6-3 Sr. Tequan Claitt, 6-0 Sr. Josh Owsley, 6-5 Jr. Deandre Dishman, 6-0 Jr. Andre Davis, and 6-0 Sr. CJ Walker.
Lafayette trailed by one point with 26 seconds remaining on the clock but rallied for a 57-52 victory over Bryan Station. The score was tied six times and there were 13 lead changes in this game. Lafayette shot 42.9% from the field including four of 15 from the three point line. The Generals connected on 17 of 24 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 18 Bryan Station turnovers. Bryan Station shot 38.35 from the field including seven of 16 from beyond the arc. The Defenders connected on 34 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Lafayette turnovers.
Lucky Jackson led Lafayette with 15 points, four rebounds, and three steals. 5-9 Jr. TJ Downey added 13 points. Ross Jenkins recorded 11 points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots.
CJ Walker led Bryan Station with 17 points including three three point baskets. Tequan Claitt added 13 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and four steals. Andre Davis chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets. Deandre Dishman recorded six points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots.
