Anderson County coach Clay Birdwhistell started the following lineup: 5-8 Jr. Kaci Currens, 5-4 Jr. Mia Aldridge, 5-10 Sr. Sidney Stratton, 5-2 Sr. Corrin Robinson, and 5-4 Sr. Marissa Walker. Mercy Academy coach Keith Baisch countered with 5-10 Sr. Mackenzie Stovall, 5-9 Sr. Kathryn Gross, 6-0 Sr. Malerie Martin, 5-7 Sr. Hannah Bewley, and 6-0 Sr. Kassidy Kiesel.
Mercy Academy defeated Anderson County by a score of 62-42. Mercy shot 41.5% from the field including five of 17 from the three point line. The Jaguars connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 17 Anderson County turnovers. Anderson County shot 30% from the field including 10 of 28 from beyond the arc. The Lady Bearcats connected on two of seven free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored two points off 12 Mercy turnovers.
Kassidy Kiesel led Mercy Academy with 18 points and four rebounds. Malerie Martin added 13 points and six rebounds. Hannah Bewley and 5-4 Jr. Jessica Laemmle recorded 11 and 10 points respectively.
Kaci Currens led Anderson County with 19 points including four three point baskets. Marissa Walker added 10 points including three three point baskets. Corrin Robinson pulled down seven rebounds.
