Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Dee Givens, 5-8 So. Kendyl Powell, 6-4 Sr. Ashanti Thomas, 5-3 So. Lataya Winn, and 5-11 So. Kiara Pankins.  Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford countered with 5-9 Sr. Kerrigan Davis, 5-8 So. Anovia Byars, 5-11 Jr. Nakeisha Green, 5-6 Jr. T’Laya Lyvers, and 5-6 Sr. Destiny Carter.

Henry Clay defeated Lafayette by a score of 55-42.  Henry Clay shot 37% from the field including three of eight from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 12 of 14 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 23 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 30.4% from the field including zero of five from beyond the arc.  The Lady Generals connected on 14 of 24 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored eight points off 16 Henry Clay turnovers.

T’Laya Lyvers led Henry Clay with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and four steals.  Kerrigan Davis, Anovia Byars, and 5-6 Sr. Nakyira Joyce each recorded eight points.  6-1 Sr. Hannah Young chipped in with six points, six rebounds, and three steals.

Ashanti Thomas led Lafayette with 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Kiara Pankins added 11 points and eight rebounds.
