Bowling Green coach LaVonda Johnson started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Keely Vincent, 5-7 Sr. Gabrielle Pruitt, 6-0 Jr. Tia Mia Matthews, 5-3 So. Peanut Martin, and 5-6 So. Heavyn Gray.  Allen County-Scottsville coach Brad Bonds countered with 5-11 Sr. Morgan Rich, 5-10 8th Grade Sarah Sutton, 6-1 Sr. Holly Robinson, 5-7 Sr. Ashley King, and 5-8 Jr. Savannah Gregory.

Allen County-Scottsville outscored Bowling Green 26-14 in the second quarter on their way to a 76-67 victory.  Allen County-Scottsville shot 41.3% from the field including six of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Patriots connected on 18 of 21 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 17 Bowling Green turnovers.  Bowling Green shot 39.1% from the field including two of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Purples connected on 15 of 24 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 20 Allen County-Scottsville turnovers.

Morgan Rich led Allen County-Scottsville with 30 points including three three point baskets, 16 rebounds, six assists, and two blocked shots.  Savannah Gregory added 17 points and 11 rebounds.  Holly Robinson recorded 14 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.

5-10 Jr. Oneisha Turner led Bowling Green with 26 points and eight rebounds.  Tia Mia Matthews added 11 points, eight rebounds, and three steals.  Keely Vincent recorded 10 points and six rebounds.
