Notre Dame Academy coach Wayne Foust started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Sydney Stallman, 5-9 So. Kennedy Baugh, 5-10 Sr. Haylee Smith, 5-6 So. Jenna Martin, and 5-9 Sr. Hillary Hellmann. Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-11 Jr. Maggie Colley, 5-10 Fr. Grace Berger, 5-10 Jr. Lydia Taylor, 5-4 Sr. Ashley Johnson, and 5-7 Fr. Kia Sivils.
Sacred Heart defeated Notre Dame by a score of 49-41. The score was tied five times and there were seven lead changes in this game. Sacred Heart shot 43.6% from the field including two of nine from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on 13 of 23 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 22 Notre Dame turnovers. Notre Dame shot 39.4% from the field including two of eight from beyond the arc. The Pandas connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored six points off 12 Sacred Heart turnovers.
Grace Berger led Sacred Heart with 20 points, seven rebounds, and five steals. 5-4 Fr. Kiki Samsel added 14 points including two three point baskets.
Hillary Hellmann led Notre Dame with 20 points and eight rebounds. Haylee Smith added eight points and 10 rebounds.
