Lexington Christian Academy defeated Green County by a score of 43-27. LCA recorded 21 first downs and 514 yards of total offense. The eagles were penalized six times for 55 yards and had a pass intercepted. Green County recorded 11 first downs and 427 yards of total offense. They were penalized six times for 40 yards and lost a fumble.
Nick Whitman led LCA’s ground attack with 258 yards and four touchdowns on 24 carries. Dima Ballard carried the ball 11 times for 94 yards and a touchdown. Dillon Wheatley carried the ball 10 times for 54 yards. Dima Ballard completed 11 of 20 passes for 108 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Sam Arnold caught three passes for 43 yards and a touchdown. Daniel White added two receptions for 28 yards. Nick Whitman led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles. Drayden Burton added four solo and three assisted tackles.
Charlie Berry led Green County’s ground game with 203 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. Christian McMillan carried the ball eight times for 74 yards. Cameron Cornish completed nine of 28 passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns. Dalton Reinle caught five passes for 109 yards and a touchdown. Justin Moore added two receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown. LeAnder Beckley led the defense with four solo and 10 assisted tackles. Blake Crepps added six solo and six assisted tackles. Michael Pesina recorded five solo and three assisted tackles.
