Pleasure Ridge Park coach Dale Mabrey started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Lamontray Harris, 6-0 Sr. Richard Clemons, 6-5 Sr. Richard Sawyer, 5-10 Jr. Antonio McDaniels, and 6-1 Sr. Taywan Taylor.  Butler coach Steven Purlee countered with 6-1 Sr. Demetrius McReynolds, 5-10 Sr. Rashawn Ferrell, 6-1 So. William Johnson, 5-9 So. Jeremiah Bell, and 5-9 Sr. Monty Harbin.

Pleasure Ridge Park outscored Butler 19-9 in the second quarter on their way to a 53-44 victory.  Pleasure Ridge Park shot 37.5% from the field including zero of six from the three point line.  The Panthers connected on 29 of 40 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 13 Butler turnovers.  Butler shot 32.6% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Bears connected on 12 of 20 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored seven points off 14 Pleasure Ridge Park turnovers.

Taywan Taylor led Pleasure Ridge Park with 19 points, six rebounds, and four steals.  Antonio McDaniels added 10 points.  Lamontray Harris and Richard Sawyer each pulled down seven rebounds.

Demetrius McReynolds led Butler with 12 points including three three point baskets and seven rebounds.  William Johnson added nine points and four steals.  Monty Harbin chipped in with eight points.
