George Rogers Clark Scott True started the following lineup: 5-6 Sr. Taylor Kindred, 5-7 Sr. Preshia Rogers, 5-10 Jr. Brittani Gay, 5-5 Jr. Kelsie Parido, and 5-5 Sr. Shami Williams.  Lexington Catholic coach Chelsea chowning countered with 6-0 Jr. Alex Botkin, 5-10 Jr. Emily Johns, 6-0 Jr. Elizabeth Walton, 5-7 Jr. Bonnie Rhule, and 5-8 So. Octavia Wilson.

George Rogers Clark led 17-3 late in the first quarter but Lexington Catholic rallied for a 59-53 victory.  Lexington Catholic rallied to cut the deficit to seven points; 31-24 at halftime.  The comeback continued in the third quarter as Lexington Catholic behind 12 points by Octavia Wilson outscored GRC 20-6 to take a 44-37 lead entering the final quarter.  GRC was hampered in the second half by foul problems for Preshia Rogers.  Lexington Catholic hit their free throws late in the game to ensure victory.

Lexington Catholic shot 38.6% from the field including three of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 22 of 28 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored nine points off 15 GRC turnovers.  GRC shot 40% from the field including five of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on eight of 13 from the free throw line, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 22 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Octavia Wilson led Lexington Catholic with 23 points, five rebounds, and four assists.  Wilson was six of 10 from the field including two of three from the three point line, and nine of nine from the free throw line.  Eliizabeth Walton added 12 points and six rebounds and Emily Johns chipped in with 12 points and four rebounds.  Alex Botkin recorded six points and nine rebounds.

Brittani Gay led GRC with 23 points.  Gay was 10 of 14 from the field and three of five from the free throw line.  Taylor Kindred added 11 points.  Preshia Rogers recorded nine points, five assists, and eight steals.
