Lafayette coach Greg Coldiron started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Dee Yarbrough, 5-10 Jr. William Johnson, 6-5 So. Nick Trisko, 5-10 Sr. David Ross, and 5-9 Fr. Charles “Snoop” Johnson.  Mason County coach Chris O’Hearn countered with 6-2 Jr. Tyler Black, 5-10 Jr. Cody Hamm, 6-9 Sr. Treg Setty, 5-9 Jr. Connor Osborne, and 5-10 Sr. Jordan Gilbert.

Lafayette defeated Mason County 62-60 in overtime.  There were 10 ties and 20 lead changes in tonight’s game.  Lafayette shot 47.9% from the field including four of 14 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 13 Mason County turnovers.  Mason County shot 44.1% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Royals connected on three of four free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 18 Lafayette turnovers.

Dee Yarbrough led Lafayette with 27 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and five steals.  Nick Trisko added 12 points and eight rebounds.  William Johnson chipped in with nine points and six rebounds.

Treg Setty led Mason County with 19 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and four steals.  Tyler Black added 17 points and seven rebounds.  Jordan Gilbert recorded 17 points including three three point baskets.
