Lexington Catholic coach Chelsea Chowning started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Alex Botkin, 5-10 Jr. Emily Johns, 6-0 Jr. Elizabeth Walton. 5-7 Jr. Bonnie Rhule, and 5-8 So. Octavia Wilson.  Paul Dunbar coach Amy Tilley countered with 5-10 So. Lakeena Parks, 5-9 Jr. Morgan McEldowney, 6-2 Fr. Brooke Todd, 5-2 So. Kierra Muhammad, and 5-4 Sr. Christin Haney.

Lexington Catholic captured a 67-66 overtime thriller over Dunbar on a three point basket by Octavia Wilson with 0.6 seconds remaining in the overtime period.  Lexington Catholic shot 35.9% from the field including five of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 16 of 26 free throws, pulled down 55 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 17 Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 36.2% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 11 of 20 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 27 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Octavia Wilson led the victors with 31 points including three three point baskets and 12 of 14 free throws.  Alex Botkin and Emily Johns each recorded eight points and 12 rebounds.  5-4 so. Sarah Cawood also scored eight points. Elizabeth Walton chipped in with four points and 10 rebounds.

Lakeena Parks led Dunbar with 18 points and five rebounds.  Christin Haney added 16 points including four three point baskets, pulled down four rebounds, and recorded five steals.  Kierra Muhammad chipped in with 13 points.  5-6 Jr. Indya Raglin recorded 10 points, nine rebounds, and four steals.
