Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-2 Trae Stewart, 6-0 Sr. Kendrick Prewitt, 6-6 Sr. Daniel Kiesling, 6-0 Sr. Brandon Nichols, and 5-8 Jr. Wes Kimball.  Sayre coach Ted Hall countered with 6-3 Sr. Griffin Patterson, 6-1 Jr. Reid Freeman, 6-6 So. Ray Brewer, 5-9 Sr. Griffin Miller, and 5-9 So. Mike Smith.

Henry Clay led 35-29 at halftime and pulled away in the second half for a 82-46 victory over Sayre.  Henry Clay shot 57.9% from the field including seven of 17 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 17 Sayre turnovers.  Sayre shot 37.5% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Spartans connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored seven points off 10 Henry Clay turnovers.

Wes Kimball led Henry Clay with 15 points including three three point baskets.  Daniel Kiesling also scored 15 points and pulled down six rebounds.  Kendrick Prewitt and 6-5 Fr. Trey Grundy each scored 10 points.

Mike Smith led Sayre with 19 points.  Griffin Miller added nine points.
