Our society is predicated on selling and all of us are selling something all of time. Whether we are attempting to make a new friend, talk the teacher into a higher grade, convince our parents to let us stay out an extra hour, get a new job, or make a million dollar deal, we all use selling techniques to help us meet our goals.
The purpose of this webquest was to make you more knowledgeable about the selling process and how you can apply the steps of that process to many situations. Along with knowledge about the selling process, you must remember that to be successful in selling yourself, your ideas, or your products, you must have confidence - and confidence comes with knowledge. You must continue learning about yourself and recognize your weaknesses as well as your strengths. You must be caring, forgiving, patient, accepting of others, decisive, understanding, honest, and willing to continue to learn. You must also be willing to work hard and be self motivated.
Selling is challenging, and demands creativity and innovative thinking. A career in selling can also be very lucrative. More and more women are entering the sales field with much success. But, regardless of the profession you decide to pursue, you WILL BE "SELLING." |
