Nashville, TN (BlackNews.com) - The biggest talent show of the summer is coming to Tennessee on July 29th. It's a national competition between singers, groups and bands from across the country. The entire show will be recorded and mailed to various A&R sources in the music industry.
The event will be held at The Red Iguana Night Club in Nashville, and music talents of all genres are invited to participate - including hip-hop, rap, neo-soul, rock, R&B, reggae, gospel, country and even Latin.
One grand prize winner will win a 2005 PT Cruiser - sponsored by Jim Reed Chevrolet also in Nashville.
Other prizes include: cash, free studio time, a chance to be on a feature film soundtrack, a chance to perform in the feature film (The Frat), and a free trip to New York.
To audition, participants can come to the Red Iguana Night Club (305 Broadway - Nashville, TN) every Saturday from 11am - 4pm, beginning June 18th and ending July 16th.
There is a $50 registration fee required. If attending a live audition is not possible, interested ones can submit their material and registration fee to the address below:
