What I feed my cats
survey | survey results | my opinion | what I feed my cats

Currently I'm feeding my cats canned Felidae Cat and Kitten.

Also, I like Spot's Stew for Cats a lot; it is a USDA-approved, human-grade cat food with a price to match. It looks more like food that a human would eat than any other cat food I've seen--I can see actual chunks of meat, peas and carrots, in a nice-looking gravy. In fact, it states in the brochure that humans can eat it, however I am vegetarian so I haven't tried it. Spot's Stew is sold in health food stores as well as online at http://www.wellfedpet.com.

When I am not felling lazy, I add a teaspoonful of one of the following foods to the canned food for each cat:

grated zucchini
chopped steamed broccoli
grated steamed carrot
steamed peas
Plain baked chicken or turkey
Cantaloupe melon
Alfalfa sprouts (rinse them well and chop them into little bits to mix with the food)
