Solving the problems of terrorism is the number one challenge facing the military of the United Nations and many other countries. There is no way to solve terrorism. Terrorism is often deeply rooted in fundamental beliefs be it religious, over property rights or other historical events. Once cannot begin to imagine the power of a deeply rooted hatred for another cultural, people, society. Terrorists believe so deeply in this that they are often willing to commit the ultimate sacrifice of their own life for the cause.
If you combine these deep beliefs with the power of organization, it becomes very difficult for anyone to combat terrorism. Human nature is to pursue extremism even further if you have other people of the same mindset and executing with you along the way. In my opinion, solving terrorism has to be a multi-front plan. First, the root cause of terrorism across all various terrorist activities needs to be fully understood and addressed.
