Kei

Kei is a graphics artist who, to my luck, has become enamoured of my Dracula slash--Child of the Night. This gifted lady seems to be bent on producing a graphic novel, and I can only stand by and marvel--and appreciate.

You can see the elegant cover page for Child of the Night in the story itself. I made it Child's splash page. It may take a little while to load, but please be patient--it's worth it.

I will arrange the pictures in the order in which the scenes that inspired them occured in the story.

This is the scene in which Draculea comforts Nicolae after he has been severely beaten by his stepfather.

This atmospheric graphic illustrates the quiet, romantic moments shared by Vlad and Nicolae at the bathing pool, as they make their way to Castle Draculea.

Kei's darkest work on this theme. Draculea rides back to Castle Draculea after his final battle with the Turks, somehow sensing that tragedy awaits. Kei really captured the danger of this man, even before he took on the curse. I also like the representation of the battle steed--Lucifer--whom I consider a minor character in and of himself.

These graphics are so large that I have split Kei's section, so that they may be seen with the minimum wait for download.
