Loerth is populated by these races: Therefore any character that comes from this world must be one of the following races. All 2nd Ed Classes apply.

  1. LOERTH ELVES: The special elves that reside in Enerol
  2. HUMANS: Live mostly in towns and right outside them.
  3. DWARVES: Live in the Dwarven Mountains protecting Materna, the eggs, and their secret. The few that leave the mountain have sworn never to divulge the whereabouts of Materna
  4. HOBGOBLINS(Live in undisclosed villages in the woods and plains. Also live in towns and join the army. They are also building a city called Ruin on the eastern side of the Scorched Lands
  5. ORCS: Live in towns and join army. Also have their own town on the Eastern side of the Scorched Lands called Nosaj

    Special Character Races and Classes

    Hobgoblins and Orcs:

make up much of Loerth's army and populate much of the capital city of Loerth. Therefore, as long as they are played in adherance to their racial background, they are acceptable PCs.

    Loerth Elves

These elves live only in the Southern portion of the continent of Loerth in Enerol. They have special magical abilities and hindrances.

    Locansville Knight

Special Fighters that I drew up specifically for this world. Reside mainly in Locansville and Kingsville

    THE NETWORK:

Most humans are members of the Network (unless they spy for Loerth or worship Dari). This is an intricate web of people that pass information along about Loerth's troop movements as well as what is happening in their towns. Each member knows the name of only two members, his contact and the one he is to contact. This way the whole Network can't be taken down by one capture.
Sir Wilhelm is the creator and leader of this group, even from his "Retirement".

    Deities

Follow this link to learn about the deities of the land and their clerics.
Since they appear to their faithful enough to keep everyone guessing, all players must choose a specific deity for their PCs
