Noooooooooooooooooooooo!!
Mood:  accident prone
Now Playing: Wedding Singer OST - Somebody kill me please
Topic: Everyday life
Woke up. Still no one who wants to take me shopping. Blisters on all my toes after the stupid shoes. Draged myself out of bed, and tried to make me some breakfast. Bread's mouldy. Time to run to the bus. Can't find my favorite hoodie. Arrive to the gym, is greeted by a lovely "Damn, you look pale" (after an entire weekend of sunbathing)
Find a hole in one of my socks. The only pair of socks that I can wear with my gym shoes. I threw the other pair away during the w-e and thought I kept the good pair.
Take out all my aggressions on the machines at the gym, starting to feel a bit better again. Get a phone call from college, dammit! Agree to be finished by the end of the week. Come back home and sit down in front of the computer, none of them's working. Spend an hour calling people to make them lend me their computers.

I was supposed to go shopping with a friend, and get the latest dish on her new bf, but that didn't happen so I pretty much spent the day sunbathing...

Another day, another play date. Went to meet another friend, and her little daughter. Of course, mummy was color coordinated in a green top and skirt, and the little one had on a black and white paisley dress. I REALLY need to get more ugly friends! I was just reading a book, Goodnight Nobody, and according to that people/parents/mummies don't have time for that!! (An OK book by the way)

Anyway, we went to have some ice cream but they we all out of cups and cones, and when we finally got the ice cream it was so soft that you couldn't eat it. It just fell on to your clothes, so I had to through it away :(

One thing that impressed me though, is the mother who is know for having a bit of a temper sometimes, but today when the girl was a bit unruly she actually kept everything under control. I was mucho impressed!

I went to see a friend and her little one today. She was dressed immaculate in white, summery shorts and a shirt with a green top underneath. Accessorised with a fashionable belt and matching shoes and a new sparkling red hair color. And her daughter actually had a dress that matched the pram she was in. I didn't think that parents had time for that. And there I am, with no excuse, and still not color coordinated. I need to get me some new, worse dressed friends!

And oh, the computer's still not working...

Scary stuff!

For some unknown reason I ended up watch a really stupid show called "Mr.Romance" where they're going to crown the new Fabio (who the h*** needs a new Fabio, or the original at that?!)
I didn't know if I should laugh, cry or run and hide. It could be like a male version of Top Model, but since it's about men they have to do it as a comedy, or something... I just couldn't figure out if the were making fun of the participants, Fabio, women who read the stupid books or the genre as such.
Does anyone else know??

Old fart?
Mood:  sharp
Now Playing: I'm from Barcelona
Topic: Books
I've just finished reading the blook (blog-book)version of Fredrik Virtanen's blog. All of a sudden, I realised that he's a lot like Per Hagman, but in a friendlier, less pretentious way. But the really freaky thing is that his old fart taste of music has become more and more similar to mine. Has I been affected by hidden subliminal messages or am I just getting REALLY old?

After a loong boring night and pretty much ditto day, I decided to go with my mum to a restaurant even though I really don't have any money. The food was great, grilled prawn with spice chili sauce and garlic butter sauce. And cheesecake for dessert :)
After dinner, my mum and her friend wanted to go to an outdoors pub, so off we went. When I got there, I noticed that the bartender was an old collegue of mine and she asked to stay around until her shift was over at 11. My mum left after a while, but I'd promised to stay so I did.
I sat down with a lady friend of mine, and her seven finnish friend who all spoke in...finnish. I couldn't understand a thing, but after about an hour or so they realized that I was swedish and started to translate everything for me. Around midnight my friend was still working, and I decided that it was time for me to go. But no, I had to stay until I'd finished the cider my lady friend bought me. Around 0.30 I finally said goodbye to my new friends and started to walk away, but I just walked a couple of steps before I was stopped by another friend who insisted on me going in his car. He claimed that it wasn't good for a girl to walk home alone at night. I tried to walk away but then he followed me and tried to carry me to the car. So there I was, in the middle of the night with six other people on a two minute car ride home.

Today all hell broke loose. The worst thunderstorm in a long time, and it lasted all evening. And no power. Woo hoo!
Luckily, I'd just gotten some company when it began. So we just sat there, in opposite sides of the sofa, just staring at each other with nothing to say. But at least he seemed happy, happier than I've seen him in quite a while.
He gave me a ride home where I played some yatzi (What's wrong with cardgames?) with my mum before I went to bed at 10 pm. On a friday night.
