New cds
Mood:  surprised
Topic: Music
I've listened to some more or less new cds (well...)lately and here are my verdicts:

Red Hot Chili Peppers * Stadium Arcadium - I like more for everytime I listen to it. Rockishly funky!

Teddy Geiger * Underaged Thinking - The boywonder from tv-show that never were. John Mayer in the making.

Nick Lachey * What's left of me - Surprisingly, I like it!

Ronan Keating * Bring you home - No comment.

Bob Sinclar * Western Dreams - If you've heard the hits, you've heard it all!

Sandi Thom * Smile it confuses people - I liked it more than I expected to! Pop at it's best.

Dixie Chicks * Taking the long way - I just love the first single "Not ready to be nice". But the rest? I dunno know...

Nelly Furtado * Loose - With Timerland, it's always a hit...but I still like the Folklore album better.

India Arie * Testimony - I like India, even if I'd like some more variation perhaps.

Corinne Bailey Rae * Corinne Bailey Rae - I really want to like this girl, but I just can't help getting sleepzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... Please give this girl some great songs!

I went into town today to have coffee/lunch with an old friend. It was good to see her again. We talked and played with her daughter. Had some pie. Then we went into a couple of stores, and of course... the dress I'd planned on buying wasn't there any more. This is the third time that has happened in just a couple of months. I found some tasty strawberries though...

Stop bugging me!

Now Playing: BzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZ....aaaaaaaaaaaBZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.....

Just about when I was going to sleep last night a big nasty bug decided to move in with me in my bed. As I've said before I sleep (slept?) with window open, and yesterday I got an unwelcome visitor in the shape of a big disgusting bug that looks like a spider, only with six legs instead of eight.
So I got the biggest newspaper I could find, hid behind the door and started poking him. He didn't even move. After about twenty minutes he flew down under my bed and I decided to spend the night in the living room. Said and done, I moved all my blankets and pillows and mobile phone and tried to sleep on the sofa instead. Didn't work. With all that crap with me, half of me didn't fit into the sofa and was left dangling. I laid like that for about half an hour, then I decided to give in and get back to the battle instead. I chased it around the room for an hour before it disappeared without a trace. I checked the room about five times and then went to bed with the covers around me as tightly as possible, scratching my imaginary bitemarks...

The computer is basically back to it's normal state...of not working again, so don't get your hopes up.

Met an old friend last night. It's been a while since I actually talked to him last. We talked about the party to be, sounds good. Lots of people I don't know.

Had lunch with my lady friend. That was good...

Didn't make it to the gym though. Even though I got up at 6 am.

Whatthe...?!
Mood:  surprised

Suddenly. After two frigging months, the computer decides to suddenly start working. When I finally got the replacement computer installed. When I've spent the entire summer nagging and begging and bugging people about my need for a computer. Well, it'll probably not last until tomorrow anyway... Maybe I shouldn't turn it off tonight?!

Mood:  a-ok
Now Playing: Nelly Furtado "Loose"

It feels like this entire weekend's been spent waiting for people, och nagging on people. I haven't really gotten anything done. Well, well, another week, another 24?48?96? whatever hours to waste...

Got a ticket for an aeroplane?
Mood:  caffeinated
Now Playing: Timbuktu - Jag drar
Topic: Everyday life
Talked to a friend today and she made me really want to get out of here. But where? There's so many places I want to go...

I want to go and see her of course. I want to see a movie at a drive-in somewhere up north. I want to panic while sky diving over a big field. I want to run out of gas somewhere in the middle of nowhere in Texas while trying to find the world's biggest ball of yarn. I want to feel misplaced at some crazy club in Tokyo. I want to chicken out of a bungy jump in New Zeeland. I want to wave with a Swedish flag on May 17th in Oslo. I want to check what they really have under their kilts. I want to fall madly in love with a suck-up latino and forget about him a week later. I want to get lost and end up in Brixton while trying to shop in London.

Topic: Everyday life
I sleep with my window open because it's so hot out, and this morning I had the window opened a lot. Under my window I have this paper and feather chicken on a stick that I bought for easter one year, and didn't know where to put when easter was over.
So, I was reading the paper and suddenly I hear a sound and I look up just in time to see a big damn seagull flying into my room, attacking the poor fake-chicken and flying away again. A really bizarre scene!

New baby
Mood:  mischievious

I've got a new baby. A credit card that'll cut in half right away. The only reason I even applied is because they kept sending me these damned letters begging me to apply. So I decided to send it in as an experiment, just to see what they'd say. Any serious company wouldn't give me one, since I don't have any income and a very big loan already, but apparently they're not that serious. And a 20 % interest rate. Can I report them to someone?

Cats
Mood:  chatty
Now Playing: Cats OST
Topic: Everyday life
Second day of cat-sitting. When I got there I was "attacked" by two cats by the door. I let them and myself in and found another two cats by the other door. Jackpot! All cats here already, so I started feeding them, and then one of the wanted to go outside again, so I opened the door, and in ran other cat so suddenly I had five cats, one cat too many, but who was the intruder so I decided to feed tthem all. Problem solved. I just hope they won't tell all the other cats in the neighbourhood ;)
