Oh how quickly things change. I got mail. From the person I really don't want to deal with right now. On Tuesday my life will be over...

Well, well...
Mood:  happy
Topic: Everyday life
The day didn't start off too good. Woke up, after three hours of sleep, just to realize that all the things I'd planned to have for breakfast were inedible, stale or just really old. I had to try to make do with what I had. After that my stomach began to hurt, and when that was over I had 15 minutes to eat the damn breakfast and get dressed and all that... Luckily I just made it to the bus.
When I finally got off the bus I started to feel a bit better as I walked along the empty streets, listening to some classic rock tunes.
Well at the gym, things ran much more smoothly than expected. I even did what I've said I'll never do, I RAN on that stupid treadmill.
Bought a bunch of fruit and went home, smiling.

Re-runs?
Mood:  a-ok
Topic: Tv
People keep complaining about all the re-runs during the summer, but I actually think it's kind of fun. It makes you watch things you'd never watch any other time, like Bleak House (your standard bbc Dicken's drama), Bullshit! (a mythbuster comedy programme with Penn & Teller), Secrets of the sexes (three part documentary about the biological and emotional differences of the sexes) and stupid documentaries like 'Fat Pets'.
I even managed to watch an episode of my favourite Reno 911 (a stupid mockumentary a la Cops) the other night (at 3.30 am).

Supernanny?
Mood:  chillin'
Topic: Books
I finished one more of those book-thingies. 'One child' by Torey Hayden. At first it seemed like it was written by one of those Supernannies, but then I got more into it. It all seemed too easy though. If it really works like that all kids would be rehabilitated without too much problem at all...

Let me sleep!
Mood:  don't ask
Now Playing: Crap
Topic: Everyday life
As usual , I couldn't sleep because of the heat and woke up nice and early around 5 am. Had a headache, because of the heat, all day. Then my mum bribed me (with food) to go with her into town. We got on the brand new bus, which of course smelled like brand new bus, and the I felt really sick.
We went to this new thairestaurant, but the food wasn't as expected, maybe next time... And we had to wait 40 minutes for dessert!
Then I was supposed to meet up with all my friends who'd begged me to stop by. I talked to one of them, the one I really hadn't expected to see, so that's a nice suprise but still...
Then followed fours hours of listening to crap bands and getting mosquito bites...and a back pain that's out of this world. At least I got a meat less burger at the end of the evening...

Loong lunch
Mood:  party time!
Now Playing: Who cares?
Topic: Everyday life
I went into town to have lunch with an acquaintance. First we had to walk around to three different restaurants because of the first restaurant's refusal to cook food that I could actually eat. They usually have lots of great food, but this weekend they've decided to just have two dishes on the menue, and refusing to cook anything else even though we were the only ones in the darn restaurant.
So we to another place where we know that they're friendlier. I had some shrimp and veggies, delish!
I'd planned to get out of there after a couple of hours and go to a friends barbecue, and see her new apartment and car. But I never got around to it.
When we got there she ordered ciders and later on champagne (or sparkling wine actually, they didn't have any real champagne).
When we finally got out of there, they (her and her husband) wanted us to go to another place and have some beers, so we did...

New owners
Mood:  hungry
Topic: Everyday life
I decided to award myself with a late lunch down by the lake. The people who run it before made the best shrimp sandwiches ever with lots of garlic, but the new owners were kind of a disappointment. They sold us discount store soda and the sandwich didn't really taste of anything. They get an A for effort though, they've made it themselves and it's full of tasty things but still, very bland. Service was good though...
