First day.
Mood:  energetic
Topic: Work
Well, the first day of work went fairly well. I know I have still have a few things to work on, but I think I did a pretty decent job. I handled almost 50 calls and emails throughout the day.

I go back tomorrow, but for only 3 hours.

My first day is tomorrow.
Mood:  not sure
Topic: Work
Well, tomorrow I start answering phones as a FEMA Map Specialist. I'm curious how it will go, I hope I don't screw up too badly. I also hope that there are enough calls, that the day doesn't drag on and on either.

More to come...

Oh how I love group projects!
Mood:  irritated
Topic: Grad School
This semester's group project started out great!<--extreme sarcasim!

A month into our project, my group of three lost one because she lived two hours away, and her boss died, and she was forced to seriously increase her workload and could not handle the class anymore.

The same week, the other guy in my group...out of nowhere...writes an email to our professor complaining that our group is having "communication problems"...mind you, this guy had never once called and had sent 1 email in two weeks. Well, now after we had thought it had been worked out, he dropped...leaving just me in my powerfull group of 1!

Tomorrow I get to talk to my professor and find out what is going to happen to me and my project. One of three things I'm guessing, my project will be abandoned, and I'll be placed in another group, two, one or two people will be pulled from other groups to fill the slots open in my group, or three, I'll end up doing the project by myself!

I can't wait to find out which one! I'll update tomorrow after I find out...

My school history.
Mood:  happy
Topic: Grad School
Let's see, where to begin?

I guess the best place to start would be that I hated school when I was younger. Lower and middle school were just a pain in the ass. Not because of the work or anything...I never studied or did homework, unless I knew the homewrok would be collected...but because it took away so much of my play time.

When I went into the upper division, I had a little bit of a goal to shoot for, the Air Force Academy. Even this didn't really make me want to study, however.

After graduation I went to the University of Florida for about three semesters, and then moved back to Tampa. After a semester off, I went back to Hillsborough Community College, and moved out of my parents house.

I finished my A.S. at HCC and then went to the University of South Florida until I finished my B.S. in MIS in December of 2003.

I just started Graduate School at Florida State University. It was not an easy decision for me to make to go back to school, especially knowing that I'd be going to FSU! All the way through my school carrer, I've gotten by with doing little to no work or reading. However, my wife is attending the Pharmacy school at FAMU, and I knew that would have to move, hence the reason that I would be forced to get my graduate degree from FSU. Well, it dawned on me one day that she would graduate as a Doctor of Pharmacy...and that we could be introduced as Dr. & Mr. and that just didn't sit right with me.

So I decided that my competitive side wouldn't allow my wife to gain that title over me, and I applied for Grad school. My one biggest fear was that I would actually have to do some work in Grad school. Well, I was right to be fearful! I've written reports before in high school and college, but I've never had to write one every single week!

I'm not sure exactly how this will all play out, but stay tuned and find out...

I am conservative.

That about sums it up...I'll prove it with more posts to come.

I'm sure this will become my place to vent about the 2004 Presidental campaign.

My PS2 History
Mood:  happy
Now Playing: Star Wars Battlefront
Topic: PS2/Games
I got my PS2 in December of 2003 as a graduation present for myself. I got Socom at that time and GTA 3 & Vice City.

I have a high school buddy that now lives in OH, and we played Socom online together for a few months. Until a friend of his up there introduced him to Socom 2...and then we started playing that. We also got into a clan...OC!

The OutCast clan was rather large a few months ago...over 100 members. But we had some issues with some of the younger members, and were forced to clean house. And now with Star Wars Battlefront out, our presence on the Socom 2 server has deminished quite a bit.

I got SWBF the Saturday after it came out, and have really enjoyed the game. I am slightly biased however, as I am a huge fan of Star Wars.
