Webs
Spiders make their webs by first making spokes, and then make spirals around the spokes. These webs that look like wheels can only be made by orb-weavers. The special liquid to make webs is kept in a part of the stomach. The web or silk as it is called is made up of protein and is drawn out through projections called spinnerets. When the spider lets the liquid silk out and air touches it,
it instantly becomes solid. Spiders suspend themselves from a dragline, which is a long piece of silk that holds them up while they spin. Ever wonder why a spider doesn't stick to it's own web? They have a special oil on their feet that keeps that from happening. Different spiders build many different kinds of webs. There are orb webs, funnel webs, sheet webs, cobwebs, vertical line webs, line webs, and spring trap webs.
