I will try to create a web site where you can find some useful information about this great 4X4 vehicle.

The problem for the owners of this vehicle is that most of the web sites with information are in Swedish, and the availability of the parts in United States is scarce (even the engine parts are becoming hard to find due to the age of the vehicle). This Volvo is made of Swedish parts (engine,  axles, box, etc), German parts (gauges, electrical, ZF gearbox, Bosch ignition, etc), British parts (carburetors, brake system) and is very difficult to trace a part that you need if you are not in Sweden. Another  problem is encountered with the manuals. Some people have one or two, other they have several more, but most of the time they are not in English. Try taking the vehicle to a garage, and hand the mechanic a manual in Swedish!

I will try to post interchangeable parts, repairs that I have done, manuals that I have, and companies and URLs that can provide parts and services. I hope the site will help some of  you in your search to improve or repair your beloved Volvo!

This site is a collection of articles gathers from around the globe. Give credit to whom deserves. The only original part on this web site is the work and pictures I done myself on my vehicle.

                                                                                  Enjoy, Sorin.

This web site is under construction and constant modification! I will try to remove and update any dead links.
