With the exception of a few others, the Monk class is one of the best offensive Job Classes for the stretch of the RPG(for now...) It's an unlikely choice, however, because they're limited to fists, weapons-wise, as well as the lightest of armor and no head protection. As a result, its HP will seem lacking. Still, the Monk has a major advantage with its skills. Apart from having several long-range attacks, they also have the ability to heal HP and MP of themselves and party members with Chakra, and to raise dead ones with Revive. This makes Punch Art a very good secondary action ability for almost any job class.

The Time Mage is like any other magician except it excels at manipulating time and space. Although they make annoying enemies, the spells this class has available come in handy. Being able to hasten your characters' actions and prevent those of the enemy can be a saving grace during some of the more uneven battles.

The Thief is one of those Job Classes with great skills but lousy stats. Playing as this character will remind you of being a novice Squire at the beginning of the game. Use this job only to gain new skills, and then move on to a different one using Steal as your secondary action ability. Steal Heart is a very effective ability, as it has a chance of about 50% to charm an enemy of the opposite gender. Since monsters are considered genderless, both male and female characters can charm them with this ability.

This member of the magician line has the most choice when it comes to weapons. Of them all, your best bet is to stay with the stick variety, as it's one of the three weapon types with a two-panel attack radius. Oracles have a wide array of spells that indirectly damage the enemy.
