To any wishing to become Dark Angels the process is an extremely painful yet sometimes strangely religious experience. The Petitioner must cement his ability to be in harmony with all things by drinking a rather potent brew concocted from Cobra venom, an intensely powerful hallucinogenic compound, Curare, a toxin that burns across the nerves and paralyzes the victim, and smaller doses of NightShade(Belladonna) and Wolvesbane(monkshood or aconite).

                Upon ingestion of this mixture the petitioner will probably go into an incredibly deep trance like state where she becomes paralyzed. In the brief moments before her body would completely give out and she would die, she may or may not see visions due to the hallucinatory powers of the toxins. Also in those brief moments she will be drained and fed the blood of a Dark Angel, transforming her while these poisons still burn within her body.As the pain lessens and the drugs are burned from her body by the change, her mind will be crystal clear and she will feel every nuance of pain brought on by the changing of her body. The emergence of the wings being the most painful. At this final spectacle, as the pain of it begins to fade, the new initiate will be made to swear an oath binding her to the others of her bloodline. Those who refuse the oath are renegades who are hunted and executed.

                Though usually scholars and dimplomats, Dark Angels can be ferocious fighters in defense of their loved ones.They will not hesistate to cast themselves into a fray to defend those of their brood or their bloodline, and possibly any mortal who has endeared themselves to the Dark Angel.

                Though their blood is powerful, Dark Angels are unable to create ghouls for reasons unknown. Any attempts to do so invariably go mad from the infusion of vitae.

Necromantic and Thaumaturgy paths must be learned as normal. Dark Angels cannot perform Thaumaturgy or Necromantic rituals unless taught by one conversent in them. Dark Angels also tend towards the Dark Aspect of things and may indeed turn to Dark Thaumaturgy and Infernalism without proper guidence
