Nameks Background: Nameks are a kind loving race, but during one point in time their planet had terrible weather very few survived. Many years later the Nameks encountered Freeza. Most of the Nameks were killed, but were later revived by the Earth Dragonballs. They were then moved to their new planet, "New Namek", where they lived peacefully. Nameks don't have a male or female gender, they are born by an elder Namek, which throws up an egg. Nameks survive on drinking water only, they tend to plant seeds and grow their own farms. Nameks are split into two groups.

Healer Namek - A healer Namek is a Namek that does not fight, but heals anyone with a pure heart. There are many healer Nameks through out the series such as Dende & Cargo. These types of Nameks basically can revive people from death!

Warrior Namek - A warrior Namek is a Namek who fights, such as Piccolo & Nail. These types of Nameks do not heal. All they do is fight, with proper training like Piccolo their speed & power is increased greatly.
