According to Opticianonline, Rodenstock is expanding its luxury lines with "the launch last week of its Dunhill collection, the manufacturer's first since being awarded the brand licence."

Armani Launches New Line

Eyesmart.com reports that Armani is launching a new line called "Frames of LIfe."

"A new edition of the classic, round optical frames that are strongly inspired by the '20s. Temples are characterised by a light tubular plastic decorative trim and a piston hinge. They are available in shades of black/ruthenium, glossy brown/brown and Havana/matt silver."

Marcolin and Diesel Hook Up

The Moodie Report reported that with a five-year agreement with the Diesel Group, Marcolin Group will be producing and distributing the line of Diesel sunglasses and ophthalmic frames. The companies should finalize the deal in the autumn.
