Dakota Risk Group, Inc (D.R.G.) is a corporation formed in 2006 specializing in security and private investigations owned by Dakota T. Patterson. Mr. Patterson previously conducted his private investigative business for seven years as a sole proprietorship. The market size has increased as a result of 9/11 and D.R.G. has become established as a market leader in quality and value-priced security and private investigative services. D.R.G. will conduct business by focusing on its strengths, the established investigative client base, and the recruited talent from the F.B.I., State and Local Police Agencies, along with the phenomenal growth in the security industry, in both the private and public sector.
Our partners and affiliates specialize in the fields of Corporate Risk Management, Private Investigations, Litigation Support, Facility and Protective Force Management, Maritime Security, and Disaster Response and Recovery, and are now working to address the needs of a select group of clients.
D.R.G. associates also engage with government contracting agencies to promote contractor economy, efficiency, and effectiveness; and conduct audits and investigations to prevent and detect fraud, waste, and abuse. Financial objectives of the audits group include determining whether the costs claimed by a contractor for reimbursement are allowable and in conformance with the terms and conditions of the awarding agencies and Federal regulations. Financial audits also include reporting, contractual compliance, adherence to award terms and conditions, and the evaluation of the contractors internal control system.
