Security Officer / Executive Protection
Must Have Texas Private Security Bureau Level's I and II Training; Level's III & IV Training Required For Some Positions. C.H.L. Is Also Preferred & U.S. Passport, but not required.

Education and Experience
Successful candidates must be at least 18 years of
age, possess a high school diploma, or GED equivalent and have at least two
years experience in this field. The candidate must possess the ability to meet
and interact with the general public; ability to read, comprehend and speak
English fluently. The candidate must be able to follow instructions carefully, write
legibly, prepare dear and concise written reports, apply logic and exercise
integrity when dealing with law enforcement or medical personnel. The
candidate must have the ability to maintain poise and serf-control under stress.
Health and Physical Requirements
Candidates may be required to take a
physical prior to hiring; must possess good eye vision, inclusive of corrected
eyewear and cannot be colorblind. The candidate must have the natural ability to
hear, or equipped with hearing aid. Candidates must be well proportioned in height and weight and in good health without physical handicaps or impairments that may interfere or impede job performance. Security guard personnel shall be required to perform a variety of tasks dealing with safety and security of Client employees and patrons who use the facilities, included but not limited to the following
Surveying Client facilities and grounds for security breach
Locking and unlocking gates and facilities
Motorized patrol
Preparing written reports
Controlling entry to site areas
Directing traffic
Responding to various emergencies
Securing the area
Checking identification
Assisting client staff during inclement weather
Providing a safe environment for the public
Enforcing departments' security policies
Notifying local law enforcement of probable offense
Assist in and/or apprehend violators in the absence of local law enforcement
Respond to alarm system, including notifying the local law enforcement
Duties of building security may include greeting, directing, and instructing Clients and
meeting participants who enter the building.
Some security officers may require knowledge of on-site intrusion device and
the location of the system control board; the fire alarm system, fire
hydrants, fire extinguishers and intended use; location of doors
accessible to the public, including designated door for handicapped and
disabled persons. Guards may require experience in operating electronic
security devices and arming high-tech alarm systems.
The security officer shall assist Client personnel to set
alarms and properly secure all buildings and premises; complete
appropriate timesheet, accident reports, and any other documents
required by the Client. The security officer may be expected to patrol
to detect and discourage activities in violation of regulations,
including vandalism, vagrancy, rowdiness, athletic activities,
unauthorized sales, and advertising.
