Dakota Patterson - President
Mr. Patterson operated two family owned businesses concurrently beginning at the age of 10. This concluded upon graduating from high school and going onto college were an Associates of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice was earned in 1996.
Mr. Patterson, during his college career, secured employment as an automobile repossession expert with two of the largest banking institutions in America. This professional experience provided an opportunity to learn about surveillance and various repossession tactics.
In 1996, Mr. Patterson utilized his learned knowledge of surveillance and secured a position as an insurance fraud investigator focusing on workers compensation and auto injury claims. His drive and determination to be a good video surveillance investigator quickly earned him recognition from his employer.
The State of Texas requires three years of field experience to apply for a private investigative agency license. In 1999, Mr. Patterson took advantage of his three years experience and formed his own private investigative firm, operating as a sole proprietorship. The focus was workers compensation insurance fraud claims. Since this time, Mr. Patterson has completed surveillance assignments for major insurance companies and self-insured entities, while traveling all over the United States.
In 2006, Mr. Patterson formed a corporation in the State of Texas known as Dakota Risk Group, Inc. The corporation immediately began providing private investigative services to the established insurance fraud clientele. The ultimate goal of the corporation is to provide security services in support of the law enforcement and port community. Mr. Patterson has recruited talent from local law enforcement, military, and experienced private security personnel. The company infrastructure and recruited personnel along with assistance from the Small Business Administration will allow the corporation to provide cost effective private security and investigative services to include, but not limited to, background checks, executive protection, protection of assets, etc.
Mr. Patterson's day-to-day responsibilities include the administrative and management aspects of the corporation.
