Cloudy, but not very cold.
A pretty quiet day, thankfully! I slept in for a change and was surprised when I woke up. I had been having an interesting dream and it was coming up to a good point, but my alarm rang. Sigh. Oh well. I got up, then made the bed and did some laundry. I did three loads, plus my lovely pink raincoat. It's been getting a bit grubby from riding my bike, but I still get compliments on it everywhere I wear it!
I watched some TV in the afternoon, and comtemplated cooking lunch, but decided not to. Instead, I went to S-Mall around 4pm. I went to Doutours and had a sandwich. And, bien sur, a cappucino. Then, I hit the hundred yen shop for a soap dish. The two that I have used in this apartment manage to turn my lovely soap into mush. The last one did have drainage holes, but only four, and they were small so got blocked easily. I got a "new" type, one with two large slits and a bowl underneath to catch the water. Then, I came home.
At home I watched today's Medium. Ironically, it was the one episode that I'd seen before, on holiday in Canada. It was okay. I did the dishes during it, and that was when Fumihiko came home.
Fumihiko was tired so he tried to take a nap, but I wouldn't let him. After a while, he got up to go back to S-mall to get more cakes for his co-workers. While he was gone I did a few things, like grind coffee for the morning and prepare coffee for our dinner.
When he came back I got him to help me read the instructions on the packet. I finally used a Cook-Do....a Japanese sauce mix. My ingredients were great, but sadly, I didn't like it that much. I used a mixture for pork, asparagus and eringi mushrooms. The sauce, when Fumihiko read the ingredients afterwards had a lot of seafood in it. It just seemed strange for a pork stirfry. A blogging buddy of mine has recommended the sauces to me, but I didn't like this one. I guess I'll have to try another type!
Hubby did the dishes and then went off to bed for another nap. He did some laundry too. We watched ER at 11. The new to us season just started. It looks like Luka and Sam are going to break up. Can I just say,"I hope so!" Sam seems really immature. I don't like her that much.
Fumihiko went off to bed at midnight but he's really restless tonight. He thinks he's getting the flu. I hope not. One minute he's hot, the next he's freezing. I gave him a hot water bottle in the hope it would warm him a little.
I need to head off to bed soon too. I have a new class starting tomorrow so I'll have to get to the school a little bit earlier to prepare and do my weekly clean. I tend to clean a bit most days, but the weekend just passed and somehow it gets dusty all by its lonesome!
