Cold and rainy.
We had an okay day today. In the morning we had lunch at Naranda, an Indian restaurant in Sakata. It was good. I had a lovely cup of tea there.
We went to a sort of strip mall in Sakata to do some shopping. I didn't get too much, but I did discover that the liquor shop sells imported foods! I was really happy and impressed.I got a few things, some crispbreads, some club soda, some tandori mix (different from my usual) and just had a good nose around. It was exciting.
We came back via the mall to pick up more coffee and once again we had an argument in the coffee shop. Sigh. I think I'm going to stop going there. It was a misunderstanding about a Japanese word.
We came home, made up and then Fumihiko left for his party.
I surfed the net a bit, caught up from yesterday and then watched the end of a show on I Love Lucy, then watched the season premiere of ER. Hurray! I'm glad it's back. I missed my dose of .....hmmm. I'm not sure. I guess I really like Abby and Neela. Carter's not going to be in it much, and Lizzie'll be leaving too probably. Sigh.
That's about all I did today. Around 1:30 Fumihiko finally staggered in. He was hours later than I expected he'd be, and had to have ramen before going to bed. I'm watching a movie about a flying competition. I think it's Those Daring Young Men in Their Flying Machines, but I won't swear I have the name completely right.
