Earl Hooker Earl Hooker
Another great bluesman from Clarksdale, Mississippi, Earl Hooker grew up in Chicago and played slide guitar on many early Junior Wells albums and on his own. Hooker also died far too young at age 40 just when many were recognizing him as the finest slide guitar player to come out of the Windy City.
