The word Cowboy in this time is a term used to describe a bounty hunter. So the title itself is actually a small summary of the series. We find that through out the series, Spike, has a vision of a past that we (the audience) have not seen yet. Clues to his previous adventures are given along the way, and are revealed in the end. But despite this intricate story line, the whole of Cowboy Bebop is about a group of misfits just out for the common dollar. One thing I liked about this anime was its simplicity, or rather the lack there of. The female character is extremely beautiful and smart in her own quirky way. The hacker wiz kid named Ed, is actually a girl as well, despite her name. In fact, it seems to be a constant theme for Ed to be confused as a boy from time to time, even by her father. Ein is a Welch corgi with characteristic stubby, almost unwieldy, legs and a tailless rump. At first glance Ein appears to be nothing more than a somewhat charming two-year old dog, and yet he conceals a great secret, which no one is yet aware. I particularly like this character because I have a Welch Corgi of my own*and they are just so cute! Jet Black plays the placid, ex-cop who runs and fixes the Bebop. We neednt find purpose in their troubles, because such analysis ruins the purity of the content. Cowboy Bebop is deep in drama and action, with a dash of comedy for a stasis that retains perfect naturalism. It has a kick-ass Jazzy soundtrack, the story arc wields its way all the way around till you hit a great two episode finish line, and only 26 episodes with rumors of a sequel. *Quality over Quantity* My good friend Nightshift always says. As I said before telling you to like something isnt what my job here is, Im here to tell you what I think as an educated source, and I think this Anime is the Bomb! Of course others may disagree, this whole review business is full of singular views, but I say check it out, you wont be sorry.
