Spike Spiegel
The main character of "Cowboy Bebop." Don't mistake this man for a slacker based on his unruly appearance. He's a hard working man when he knows what he wants. A tough fighter and a powerful opponent. Three years ago he was a member of the Red Dragons Chinese mafia group. Now a bounty hunter accompanied with his trusty partner Jet Black, he bounds across the stars in search of the next criminal that might provide a much needed cash flow. While traveling the stars in the Bebop his craft of choice is the Swordfish II.

Faye Valentine
A bounty hunter by profession, and a good one at that. Willing to do anything to get at the bounty. Her card playing skills have earned her a legendery reputation. You wouldn't want her on the other end of a gun fight. Not much is know about this deadly woman's past. What is known is that she has an extremely large debt hanging over hear head. Faye flys an agile ship very similar to Spike's. Armed to the teeth, her ship has bailed her out of many close situations. Faye is the Yin to Spike's Yang, always competitive for the bounty. She also resides on the Bebop, sucking up the resources and torturing Ein. Beautiful, Deadly, and always willing to risk it all for what she wants.

Jet Black
Spike's partner in crime, err..I mean bounty hunting. Appointed pilot of the Bebop, as well as chef, mechanic, and just the guy who bails Spike's rear end out of trouble. Former space police officer, who uses his contacts to help out the crew of the Bebop in times of need or personal gain. A double crossing by a close friend leads to the loss of Jet's arm. Jet pilots a smaller craft in addition to the Bebop, called the Hammerhead.

Ed
Genius hacker. Contrary to Ed's physical appearance Ed is in fact a girl. Kina loopy, actually attacks one of the Bebop's bounties after he kicks a can at Ein. One of the weirdest characters on the show, but hey, that's what life on earth will do to ya. One of my favorite characters next to Spike, makes her first appearance in "Jamming with Edward".
