Tenchi lives in a small japanese house with his father and grandfather. One day, a space pirate lands on earth, finds Tenchi, and just happens to make friends. Following her, is a intergalactic officer (who I might add is a couple episodes short of an OVA.). Eventually, more and more space women find there way into Tenchi's home, until he has 6 extra guests. From here on out, Tenchi is all about the mishaps and mischief that occurs within this quaint Japanese house (If you actually wanted to determine a central conflict, it would probably be the arguments that occur with the two girls who love Tenchi).
