Tenchi
Tenchi Mashki is the main cahracter in all 3 Tenchi series. After his mothers death him and his dad moved, to live with his Grandfather at the shrine he cares for. One day Tenchi hears about a demon that is trapped in a cave near the shrine, and Tenchi ventures in the cave seeking about the so called demon. But what he finds is one of the pushies and best characters in the series, Ryoko. Tenchi is then chased by Ryoko, because she wants to kill him. That is becuase a Maski trapped her in there. Later he becomes the love attraction of Ryoko and every other female in the series, and Tenchi for some reason does care. As Tenchi's adventures either in volve someone from outerspace trying to kill him or one the other characters, but Tenchi always gets himself in the middle of it all. As the series goes on the start to think that Tenchi is batting for the other team, if you know what I mean...wink...wink... But later in the "Tenchi in Tokyo" series he has a girlfriend called Sakuya. Which has the series goes on, Tenchi finds out the she isn't really real. She is a "shadow" personality of the villian in the "Tenchi in Tokyo" series, Yugi. Tenchi also finds out that his Grandfather is really Yosho, fitful King of the Planet Jurai. Which makes Tenchi a royal decindent of the royal family of Jurai. Ayeka the Princess of Jurai, finds this out as well and thinks it's her chance to get Tenchi to love her. All in all, Tenchi is a wacky character that seems to always gets himself in death threatening situations. And always seems to get himself out of those situations.

Ayeka
Ayeka is the crown Princess of the Planet Jurai. She is just like the rest of the girls, she wants to be with Tenchi. She is stubborn, strong, and hates Ryoko with a vengence. See arrived on the Earth after searching for Yosho and then crashing her ship in the lake by Tenchi's house. She becomes trapped on Earth becuase her Juraian Tree which is the center of her ship has been destroyed in the crash. Jurai's trees has magic within them, and all of the Jurai Royal Family has a very strong power inside them. As Tenchi is attacked a lot it is sometimes becuase they are after Ayeka or Ryoko. Ayeka also has two guardians, that look like two big wooden barrels. They have incrediable weaponary, but never seen to be powerful enough to protect anybody. Ayeka seems be a strong women in the series and will always try to get Tenchi to love her.

Sasami
Sasami is the other crown Princess of Jurai, so that makes her Ayeka's sister. There isn't much to say about Sasami, except that she is caring and is probably the only one that doesn't want to get in bed with Tenchi. That might be becuase she is only like 10 years old, but she loves Tenchi just not as much of the Ayeka and Ryoko. He best friend has got to be Ryo-ohki, which is Ryoko's ship that can morph into a more compacked form that looks like a rabbit and a cat. She just wants everyone to get along and nothing to go wrong, she's like a nice cheerleader(no offense to all the mean cheerleaders). Also when she was young she almost died, and was saved by Tsunami by her giving a little of herself to Sasami. And when Sasami becomes of age, her and Tsunami will become one. Oh ya, Sasami is probably the most prettiest of the girls in the series.

Ryoko
Ryoko is the Space Pirate. She is also strong and is always ready for a fight, even if she starts it. Ryoko is trapped on earth by Yosho, and wasn't very happy about that. But after she met Tenchi, she didn't really care about that. Ryoko and Ayeka have like a game on who can get Tenchi, but neither one seem to get ahead of one another. Ryoko, being a pirate, is of course chased by police and bountyhunters. Mainly the bountyhunters is just one person name Nagi, who will do anything to get Ryoko.

Washu
Washu is the 20,000 year old mad scientist, who after finding out that Tenchi has the powerful Jurai power within him always wants to study him. At first in the series she wants to be called "Little Washu", but later on people just call her Washu. She is a genuis, and she thinks of ways to get out of the situations they get into.

Mihoshi
How can I say this Mihoshi is the model for a dumb blonde. She is also a Galaxy Police Officer, and she only got that becuase her father is the police chief. She sleeps on the job and always screws things up, but she is good to look at. She crashes on Earth and joyfully stays and lives with Tenchi and everyone else. Mihoshi might even be more cheerful than Sasami.

Kiyone
Kiyone is also a Galaxy Police Officer, and also Mihoshi's partner. Even though she doesn't really like Mihoshi, becuase Kiyone's dream is to be assigned to the Galaxy Police Headquarters and she thinks Mihoshi holds her from getting there. She is always in for the fight, sort of like Ryoko. And she will almost do anything to get the Galaxy Police HQ, but I think she doesn't want to leave Mihoshi and all her friends behind.

Yosho(Grandfather)
Yosho is the legendary Juraian fighter and rightful King of Jurai. He ended up on Earth as he was chasing Ryoko, for all the destruction she did on Jurai. When he arrived on Earth and sealed Ryoko in the cave, he found himself not wanting to leave. He then feel in love with the daughter of who cared for the Maski Shrine, he married her and took the Maski name. He had one child, Tenchi's mother. He is still young and hides his age with is Jurai power, so he wouldn't look wierd when everyone looked 60 years old and he only look 20 years old. When Tenchi and his son-in-law come to live with him at the shrine, he starts to teach Tenchi the Juraian sword fighting techniques. Is very calm when they get into situations, and he doesn't show who he really is later on in the series. I wish he was a more involved character in the series, that way we might of seem the power he really has. And what he really looked likes too, which you only get to see his real face in Ayeka's memories and when his mother comes to Earth.
