downIt's been too long since I've been here to post anything. I never thought I'd get so busy.
OK, to the most important, worst, and scariest news of late.
I was in a car accident Wednesday.
I HAVE NEVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE BEEN SO SCARED!!!
It was raining very hard while I was on the way home from work, so I was driving along slower, 55 in a 70. Not slow enough. In 5 o'clock traffic on a busy four lane highway I hydroplaned across two lanes, fishtailed off the road, and took out a speed limit sign. I'm fine, but my car is totalled, leaving our family with only one car. And it sucks! I also got ticketed for it! It was totally beyond my control, but since I took out a sign I got a ticket. Which means I get to appear in court for the 4th time! I don't even want to think how many points are on my liscence.
Setting that aside, there was good stuff that happened this week. I've lost 35 pounds! Um... well, ok that's the only good thing. Everything else is just everyday stuff, not good, not bad. More or less just existing.
I know I sound really unhappy. It's stress. Before this whole car accident thing I was actually thinking things were going really well and I was happy. And the car is really only an inconvenience, not a disaster. It was about to kick the bucket anyway. Maybe I'm just in a mood tonight. I really would consider myself a happy person, just not tonight.
Maybe I should just go to bed, sleep in, and then go shopping tomorrow. If that doesn't cheer me up nothing will!
