The Gospel

The purpose for this Radio Station and its programs is to spread the Gospel (Good news) about Jesus Christ and what He has done for you. If you are not a Christian, it is our hope and prayer that you will hear something on this station or see something on this web site that will show you how that you can have a relationship with God.

The Bible tells us in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever BELIEVETH in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

This is a verse that many people can say by memory but many of them have never stopped to think about what this verse is really telling us. Let's take a closer look at it.

It says that "For God so loved the world" - This is talking about the people that live in this world, not the dirt, plants, and water that make up the planet. This includes you and me. It also includes every person that has ever been born and everyone that will be born in the future.

"That He gave His only begotten Son" - God sent Jesus Christ here to die on the cross to pay for our sins.
"that whosoever" - This includes anyone (espically You)

"Believeth in Him" - The word believe is the greek word pisteu which means to put your trust in, to rely upon,or to depend upon. When you believe in Him (Jesus Christ), you are depending on what He has done to take you to Heaven, not on whatever things you have or will do to help you gain favor in Gods eyes.

"Should not perish" - This is saying that you will not go to Hell (If you have put your trust in what Jesus has done for you and accept it).

" But have EVERLASTING LIFE" - You will go to Heaven and live with God forever when you die.

Dosen't it make sense to put your trust in Jesus Christ and what He has done for you so that you can go to Heaven? If you will do this, the Bible tells us that we can know that we have eternal life. In 1 John 5:13 the bible says "These things I have written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, That you may KNOW that you have eternal life..."

Christ died...That's history
Christ died for me...That's Salvation!!
