Sunday June 10, 2001 -
Arrived in Brisbane, capital of the Sunshine State, our, lovely, People to People Delegation Manager, Kris, met up with us. We were also welcomed by our handsome coach driver, Ken. We headed north to Bundaberg, situated at the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef, one of the greatest natural wonders of the world. On route we visited the Lone Pine Sactuary, where we fed kangaroos, saw an emu, and held koalas. Its also where the southerners and nodaks sat at different tables.

Monday June 11, 2001 -
Sea sick bag, anyone? Boarded the "Lady Musgrave" cruise to the magnificent Great Barrier Reef. We started getting closer(right, 'bonding buddy' Tyler?). We had the opportunity to snorkel(without instructions), where we had the chance to view the thousand varieties of colorful fish and coral in the lagoon. ('member the purple albino fish?) Lunch was served upon the vessel. We took a lovely romp on the island. The trip back to Kelly's Beach Resort was quite a bumpy ride.

Tuesday June 12, 2001 -
After breakfast we took a journey south to Brisbane. We received a civic welcome at the Queensland Parliament House. We had lunch at the Queen Street Mall. Later that afternoon after a great game of soccer we boarded the ferry to Tangalooma on Moreton Island. We also said goodbye to Ken.

Wednesday June 13, 2001 -
We fed pelicans, had educational lectures, snorkeled around the wrecks(well some of us did at least), fed the dolphins, karaoke(need I say more). Played on the Scooby Doo movie set(before they taped it off.) Nicole, Rachel & Myself have an inflatable bat from the set(we had permission). Helloooo, Brett! haha.

Thursday June 14, 2001 -
We went sand tobogganing, but also had to say goodbye to lovely Tangalooma. (And I said goodbye to Brett! haha) We picked up Papa Trevor when we arrived at the mainland. Had a long journey to Adora Downs. Made it after nightfall and enjoyed a delicious home cooked meal and a good night's sleep in toasty beds.

Friday June 15, 2001 -
Hay ride, anyone? Rode horses (is your butt okay, Ruthanne?), tried some billy tea and a piece of damper. Some of us even drank milk fresh from the cow, while others tried not to step in cow manure. Moo? Whip cracking and bush dancing helped bring the busy day to an end.

Saturday June 16, 2001 -
We said goodbye to Boyd and Gloria but more importantly we said goodbye to Noel (We kept you in our hearts and prayers). Meat pies, anyone? We had the chance to eat one for lunch. We then later pulled into Tamworth and were greeted by our homestay families, relive the memories.

Monday June 18, 2001 -
After a lovely assembly, we said goodbye to our host families and went back on the road. This time our destination was Sydney, our last city in Australia. We explored the Aquarium and went shopping. (Fear Factor!)

Tuesday June 19, 2001 -
Scared of heights? While after climbing the bridge your fears should have slipped away. Forget diamonds, opals are a girl's (or guy's) best friend. Joe and his many questions at the Opera House (weren't you proud of him, miss h?). Had lunch at Planet Hollywood and then we were greeted by two barely clothed men dancing at the museum. Later that night we had dinner and danced the night away on a cruise ship.
