Got Jesus?
If you have come to this page then you may have not accepted
Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of your life. Or maybe you are not
exactly sure? You might be asking what it means to give your life to
Christ. It means that you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God
and that he died on the cross to pay the debt for all the sins of the
world. Jesus knows who you are and he loves you. He gave his life so
that you might have eternal life in Heaven. However, you must turn away
from sin and surrender your life to him. He loves you just as you
are and he is waiting for you to accept him. To do this, you need to start
by praying something like the prayer below.
Dear God
I realize that I can't live my life on my own. I have tried and I have
failed. I realize that I am a sinner and the punishment for sin is death.
God, I want to surrender my life to you. I know that you love me and you have
a plan for my life. I believe that Jesus gave his life for my sin. Father,
I ask for your forgiveness and I will
turn from the sin of this world and follow you. I love you and everything
that you have done for me.
In Jesus' name I pray.
Amen.
If you have just prayed this prayer then PRAISE GOD! I know you will notice
a difference in your life and others will notice it too. This is because
you are a different person.
II Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore, if
anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new
has come!" (NIV)

you haven't accepted Christ, then I would like to ask you WHY? I know that
giving up control of your life isn't easy, but do you honestly think that
you can do better? Who do you want to fly your plane, some person off the
street or the greatest pilot there ever was? Hmmmm.....pretty simple I
think.
