How Do I Join?

Of any 100 boys who join Cub Scouts, one will  use Scouting skills to save another

person's life, and one will credit them with saving his own.

CUB SCOUTING is a great family-oriented experience for boys age 6-11 (grades 1 through 5).  It's the first step of the Boy Scouts of America program, and the boys overseas earn the same advancements as if they were back in the States.

We welcome all boys from all nationalities to join in the fun and excitement that Scouting has to offer.

Boys sign up to join the Pack at the beginning of each school year, on Roundup Night in September, at St. John's International School.  Boys are also welcome to join up to the end of November.  Transfers are welcome year-round.

The cost to join CS Pack 149 is 4000 BF (or $110. U.S.).  This fee covers:

  • Basic maintenance of the program, including the district and national programs

  • A subscription to Boys Life, the Scouting magazine

  • Accident insurance

  • Specific Pack costs - awards, badges, beltloops, pinewood derby kits, etc.

  • Program materials

  • Den Activities

Additional Costs which you will have to pay beyond this are the boys' handbook and uniform
